Researchers discovered that crossing the threshold could cause some temporary memory problems! We tend to forget even the simplest things between all your business intensity. Some days I go to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and the moment I walk through the door, I just stand there and try to remember why I came here at first. In fact, the script may seem quite familiar to you. So we’re all getting old or losing our minds? Well, did you know that this is actually a scientific explanation for sudden and instantaneous memory loss and is known as the door effect or the entrance amnezine? According to the memory researchers investigating this effect, getting through a door physically makes us forget things. This is because when we move to another spatial reality, our brain needs time to recalibrate the environmental harmony and thinking process. This will cause a temporary memory loss. ?Door effect It is quite normal not to have any symptoms of dementia or old age.
Research on door effectThe door effect was tested by Gabriel Radvansky, Sabine Krawietz and Andrea Tamplin of the University of Notre Dame in Indianapoli. The aim of this experiment was to test the memory loss based on the event-horizon model. This model indicates that the transition from one incident to another event can affect memory. Another component of this model thinks that events are separate, and that the human brain can only handle one at a time. So if you’re concentrating on something, everything else is pushed back into memory. To test the effect of the door, a desired experiment was created to remind people of objects. These objects were a combination of different colors and shapes, such as a yellow cone or a red cube. The experiment was performed virtually in the computer environment. During the experiment, participants were asked to choose one of the objects standing on a table and put them on another table. When an object was selected, it was stored in the virtual bag and hid from the participants. During the experiment, the participants were asked to carry objects from the table to the table in the same room, as well as the table in the different room. Researchers revealed that the memories of the participants carrying objects from the room to the chamber were much worse than the participants in the same room. The researchers who tried this in real life found that the results were almost the same. They discovered that the memories of the participants returned to the same room were never affected. Consequently, when we enter a new place, it is not a cause of the doorway effect when we mix the content.
Possible causes of door effect:  The effect of storing only the necessary informationResearchers found some important information about the memory during their experiments. Our brains seem to be designed to protect some of the information; But when it feels that this information is no longer necessary, it cleans up the old for new information. The surprising thing is that it is not only in the real world environment, but also in the virtual environment.
-The effect of increasing the likelihood of survival: Researchers believe this transient memory loss could be a remnant of the survival mechanism. Hunters and residents of the cave were considered dangerous to leave our old, safe environment in the past life and go to a new and unknown environment. So our instincts would let us forget the old environment so we could be vigilant and vigilant in the new environment. From this perspective, If you encounter the T-Rex, would you remember your old, warm and safe cave at the time? That’s why the door is like a trigger that makes our brains forget what they think in the other room in order to discover new things and focus on them.  How can we avoid forgetting something? Well, we can’t stop crossing the gates. So concentrate on what you don’t want to forget when you pass from one room to another. It can also be very entertaining to fantasize about this scientific effect. For example, what happens if there is no door in the real sense or if the two rooms are fully furnished with the same furniture, the same wallpapers will still apply to the door effect? I guess we can hope we don’t forget what’s in our minds until we’ve done more research than just from one room to another.
